About Us

Pete Tagles, who was born & grew up in Santa Barbara, is the founder of Pete’s Superior Moving Services. As a lifelong resident, he fully understands the uniqueness and characteristics of the community. That’s why Pete’s approach to the moving experience seems more like neighbors helping neighbors. After taking a summer job as a teenager with one of the largest moving companies in the United Sates, Pete soon became lead man for them. After a few years, Pete decided to open his own moving company, with a desire to emphasize his local roots here and to offer exceptional customer service. Pete’s Moving – now Pete’s Superior Movig Services – became the realization of this desire. “My philosophy is to take pride in my work, be efficient, and make it as stress-free as possible for our customers. I want every one of them to be absolutely satisfied when the job is done,” Pete states. “Accomplishing this is extremely satisfying.”
